Political rants

Nah, I think we are bouncing back. I think the insanity of 2020 has opened a lot of people's eyes, just not enough in time for the election. I think a lot of people are being red pilled now however thanks to Biden's few weeks in office. Every day I see more people speaking out about crap that doesn't make sense. I think the conversation that was being had the other day where we were comparing today's progressives to the hippies is pretty accurate. Yeah it would be nice to give everyone everything, a basic living income, healthcare, etc, but someone has to pay for it. You can't just flip a switch and make it so. I think the bigger problem is weeding the corruption out. I'm serious about getting the ball rolling on passing the Anti-Corruption Act. I feel like I should be posting that link somewhere every day.

I am considering getting political active again to work on some version of the anti corruption act. I am kind of sitting back right now and seeing where the dust settles.

I have been debating the approach I need to take to get something similar to that passed in Iowa. On the city level I just nagged and nagged until other candidates for office won who campaigned on what I was talking about. (They followed through too) On something like this though it would be difficult, especially on the state level.

The real problem is getting america on board with this? How do you exactly spread awareness when most outlets are controlled by the same linjng the pockets of politicians

The video talks about it. Unfortunately, it has to start at grassroots. You don't need Congress to pass this bill but doing so would be quicker of course. What you have to do is start locally with signatures using the ballot initiative process, collect signatures to put it to a public vote. Then you pass a law locally, then state, then take it to the Fed. But the idea is that by the time you have it passed by your state, you should be electing officials working under those acts so by the time it reaches the Fed, Congress should pass it because it's what got them in office.

Less than half a million views on that video. I find it odd that there isn't more. It's 4 years old.

I don't like the information they have on their website because it's a lot of left talking points and rhetoric, but conceptually I think the Act is a good idea. Of course I would like to dig into it more and find out whose sponsoring the website and such. But Professor Lessig has spoke about Anti-Corruption Act and he's probably the smartest guy regarding government corruption I've heard speak.

The worst thing about this immigration policy biden has in place that worries me. Child human trafficking. Like all these children being smuggled by cartels and exploiting the immigration policy is scary

Worst thing I'm worried about is our dumb ass governor getting rid of the mask mandate and having thousands of immigrants come pouring in potentially having covid. Like we are just waiting for our deaths here in Texas. I do not want to die a virgin man. ;-;
