Even if all pollution stopped today the effects are irreversible. We will rise up in temperature regardless. Thats assuming we stopped all the emissions going on. I saw a world wise like pollution map during covid and it significantly dropped in areas like china which is responsible for most of the worlds pollution, india is up there as well. But it drastically dropped. Now that everything has resumed they are back at it again. Honestly the only way we are gonna ever fix this is with a new solution. These petty little "no flying for the common class, but private jets for the politicians" things isnt gonna cut it. And we also cant just mive to "clean energy" when all those in compliance with these acts dont follow the same rules.

Well i dont have a degree on this stuff XD but first of all every country needs to reduce their pollution. Not just one or two countries but every country all around the world has to get in on it. If you are gonna move to clean energy it has to be sufficient enough to sustain the countriy's entire population. We need to move away from gas powered cars and move to electric. But these electric cars have to be affordable enough that people can make the switch. No more company dumping hazardous materials. Then we gotta figure out how to get rid of our trash in an effective manner without burning it.

How is it irreversible tho? By building machines to take co2 out of the air wouldn't you reverse the damage because more ozone can be made that way?!? But yes i agree if you want these machines to work you need both prevention of more co2 exhaust and the removal of co2 to a certain degree.

I didnt mean literally irreversible i mean if all we did was stop polluting the damage has already been done, without any additional measures taken we would still have the effects play out the same.

Our ice caps will continue to melt at the rate they have been and the sea levels will begin to rise. We probably wont even be able to get those areas to refreeze.

I lowkey also ship Pandus and Lambus. One right wing crazy and a left wing crazy procreating. Maybe you'll get a nuanced baby right down the middle of the political isle. Wouldn't that be sumting
