I agree that there is a disproportion. I think we should find the root cause and not use such a race bait ubi law in the current political climate

its only race-baiting if you dont think there's a disparaging income difference among whites and blacks the whites in that community made around a median 100k, while the blacks made the lowest at a median 30k

I don't like the idea of helping anyone that's lazy regardless of skincolor. The fact that I'm working my ass off to pay taxes that go to programs to help people that wasted their life doing stupid stuff instead of learning skills like I did is annoying. I know that's not everyone but a majority probably is.. just look at social media . full of people with no clear goals in life.Look at this place even lol

And it is baiting. Should be issued by income. If it's mostly blacks than ok. But excluding people purely by skin color is racist

i mean, idk man, i dont wanna call a whole class of people lazy. are there leaches on the system? ofcourse, but theyr the minority. i guess its a disagreement of opinion, but when you have disparities that align with skin color, then focusing on skin color when fixing it sounds fine imo

I was raised to be independant. wish more people were like this. My mom was single raising 3 kids.. dunno how she did it but.. I think more people should learn to handle money better and invest.. too many people are bad with money.

i agree with that, i only know how to make out a check because i was taught in elementary school, they should teach financial skills in highschool

I mean even i dont make 59k and im an engineer lol.. their bar is high by my standards.. Also i still think helping those that despirately need help because covid screwed them should be helped. if it happens to be 100% blacks then so be it.. and yes, financial literacy should probably be taught.. it came natural for me i guess because i knew the struggle and didnt want my future kids to live that.
