My country historically has a good plan for immunization. The problem is that we took too long to get the vaccines because our President and former Health Minister sabotaged their acquisition because the President is antivax. Because we took so long, hospitals are lacking the necessary resources and are getting overcharged.

@nebelstern stuff like that is what makes me lean more globalist. if one big country laxes on a vaccine then it threatens all other countries.

Maybe it's just that I'm in a very liberal state but blacks have the same opportunites here. The poor ones did it to themselves

i dont think its that easy though, don't we have to worry about dignitaries and such? also feels shitty to just annex a country and all of their people because their leader is an assface @reisenpai66 from what i read its because the black population in that town is much more prone to poverty. i believe, could be wrong, that its basing the ubi on a specific area inside that town? so its likely focusing on a black community to see what kind of changes come from instituting a ubi in that area just my guess though, the article wasn't as clear on that part from what i skimmed also, if blacks had the same opportunities then why are they so disproportionally in poverty compared to whites?

Because hand outs make lazy people. Ubi will perpetuate black poverty. My black family is successful and didn't reply on handouts
