@nebelstern id be willing to debate you too if you felt like it. again im still pretty novice to it though, and my debate strategy right now is a bit silly, but i think it could make the argument

I like to say that while I am not transphobic or anything that trans do show signs of mental illness. Why else would you want to self mutilate yourself to change instead of learning to accept yourself? Kinda seems like running away from the problem. Schools should teach kids to love themselves.

@solid_snake95 its not transphobic to say transpeople have a mental illness, at least it shouldn't. its more transphobic to say they have a choice actually most people who support trans people understand its a mental illness and that the more effective treatment for that is gender reassignment surgery

I pass. I don't have much knowledge on the subject of transsexuality. Just know I pend to essentialism.

yeah your like a thesaurus for history stuff personally i specialize in veganism, which unfortunately has not lead to many interesting debates

I don't see it as a fruitful debate in itself. I've saw the debates between you and multiple other people and came to that conclusion. It was the first thread I actually seen in MO when I joined.
