The first vn I've ever played and my all time favorite is KiraKira by Overdrive. Currently re-playing Noble Works.

oh wait does nekopara count as a vn? cause that game was hella boring soooo slow, didn't even finish the first game. waste of 5 bucks

I personally liked Saya no Uta a lot. The art, music, and story were all beautifully done. :)
