@hell_hound7 Yeah, I was thinking about that too, it seems like Gabi and Eren are intentionally opposites exposed to the same "crossroads". Gabi is competent but was raised to follow her orders. Eren was generally foolhardy and gets caught up in bad mistakes, but he pursued freedom from having to be confined to society's orders. However, I think Eren too is willing to risk himself for greater causes, but just had a problem of short temper and "tunnel vision", not seeing how his foolhardiness affected others when caught up in the moment. His hot temper is a symptom of his desire to do what he thinks is right even if he knows he will lose, like when he tries to save Armin from being bullied as a kid. o7

I think eren hasnt changed at all @mountain_tiger even this grown up "mature" version. If you notice the hints than armin, mikasa, even i think was his name jean? They are like they know this is wrong but still do it. Mikasa said he killed children and what he has done cannot be taken back then armin with his bertholdt comment. Yes eren risks himself as well but not in the same sense as gabi. Eren constantly put him and others at risk by doing dumb shit. Where as gabi and the train she did only to save the other eldians from needless death and they were already traumatized.

Secondly Eren has matured he doesn't even care about his revenge that much shown in the episode where he talks with Reiner where Reiner states that Eren said he would get his revenge and kill them all which Eren replies to "oh yeah i did say something like that i'm over it just forget about it"

Oh he cares about his revenge but after seeing all the memories from past holders he is now a mixture of himself, Kruger, and Greisha. He is still him but at the same time not. He has become the devil.

Well my guess is since Kruger at one point saw the future maybe Eren knows what's to come and is therefore just fulfilling his destiny

Plus ya'll act like Gabi wouldn't of done the same she was even more excited to kill than Eren especially those "demons" in paradis
