The narrator dismisses Leto's Joker. You could do so for a number of reasons. He wasn't a very prominent character in Suicide Squad. The story was more of a focus on Harley Quinn, therefore this Joker represents the patriarchy, being purposefully placed in the background of the story to make room for something more woke.
