Uploading gifs via the "Add Picture or Video" button doesn't work. You need to copy/paste the gif's url to your post for it to show up properly. So if the gif is on your phone/pc, you'll have to upload it to a site like imgur or giphy and then copy its url/image address. Quite the roundabout way but unfortunately that's how works on this site.
