No, rare is what's recommended. Go to a "fancy" restaurant and ask for well done, I can guarantee the chef will be insulted or think little of you. Anyways... Opinions are like ass holes, everyone has one and they all stink.

@yasshat I'm certain it's legally required to sign a waver promising to not sue if you get sick from it. If so, some people feel it as to big a process for a hunk of meat. Ask me though? Being able to truly enjoy your meal is definitely a good thing too. I always go for rare, and if I get bad vibes from the place, I'll go medium rare
yaasshat
Oh,I get that. It's just personal preference.

@yasshat no one here is saying well-done is good. I like mine medium well but everyone assumes that is well done aka brick city. There's a balance more so with medium well, medium rare is kinda barely cooked in my personal opinion. Fuck well done

Kangaroo steak gets too tough to eat the more done it is. Def a rare piece of meat. Chefs advise against anything past medium rare. It's actually pretty delicious. Not as gamey as one would think. Basically, try it if you get the chance.

@joemama711 I have French backgrounds (that is a major one at least) so I can say that I can enjoy a few things. Escargots, Les Tripes. It's funny to talk about done-ness when I've eaten and enjoyed Steak Taretar.

Also I misspelled that, autocorrect putting it that way for whatever reason? Tartare^

I eat steak at outback, idk wtf fancy is and don't care to spend the extra dolla Dolla bills. I just enjoy mine how it is, I've tried medium rare and it just grosses me out and I end up air frying it and it's amazing medium well to me. Especially when the fat melts in my mouth @cur_lypav
