I also find John Oliver so incredibly biased and unintelligent I can't stand to watch him either. By all means, let the guy be a voice actor though. Just get him out of politics.

Considering how the police in the US seem to tend to operate I can only imagine that without the police there would be less shootings. The point I'm sure many people have made by now is that the protests have grown partially because of unjustified escalation and use of force from the police. Entering into a political discussion (or watching a political comedy show) and bemoaning that anybody has a 'bias' is really an odd thing to do, in my opinion. Obviously. Literally everybody has a bias when we're dealing with politics, in general. What you would have to do is illustrate how a particular bias prevents that person from making an accurate judgement, which is not something that you appear to have done.
