2020 US Presidential Election

They were called according to the dispatch audio by the woman saying that he was not supposed to be there. When they showed up they had a scuffle/fight, they have it on video. They then tased him and he was still able to get away and around his car. Then when he tried to enter is when the cop shot him in the back.

According to the evidence recovered they found a knife in the front drivers seat floor. So he either had it on him during the fight or he was allegedly reaching for it when he was shot.

ok so lets go off that, as i might actually be wrong about them being called for a different altercation, the story must have updated so i would say that a police officers job is not to murder someone that is trying to flee the scene, but to deescalate the situation do you agree or disagree?

so jacob was walking away from cops and they already had their guns drawn would you say this was not what they should have been doing yes or no

After attempting to restrain him and using a taser. Without knowing if he had a gun inside the car, without knowing if that car was stolen. It's tricky. What would deescalation mean at that point? If I was a cop I would not have let him enter the vehicle. Aside from full body tackling the guy before he opens the door, I'm not sure what you can do to prevent him from accessing a potential weapon when a taser didn't stop him.

Idk how much i trust this evidence. Cops plant stuff and lie all the time. If what they said was true then he had no weapons on him prior to going to the truck so why did they have guns out?
