2020 US Presidential Election

Brazil is a large country, and we have too much potential to grow. Maybe an independent growing power in Latin America made the US feel threatened?

Nuclear Energy would be beneficial for us since the damage to the environment is minimal compared to the thermoelectricals, which most 3rd world countries use. Except China.

Thermoelectricals kill our rivers' fish population since it pollutes said rivers... The greatest drawback to Nuclear Energy is that if an accident happens, that entire region is dead.

An energy source that kills our nature slowly or an energy source that kills nature instantly if shit happens by a minimal chance?

i disagree with this assertion that america felt threatened, it feels too conspiracy to me so i would need an argument based in facts, like why factually would America worry about your economy doing better? wouldn't that be good as you could be a potential trading partner? its the same with Mexico, we should be invested in their economy because they are our biggest trade ally we benefit from nations doing well, not badly

Well. Syria and Libya disagree with that. Military dictatorship was over, we elected a president. Maybe because we escaped the US' grasp? (Brazil was backed by America during our dictatorship). There would be no legitimate reason to bonk our chance to prosper other than wanting to have us still tied to the US.

So the US had no real reason to sabotage said program. Well. I will give it a better reading. Last time I read about this was an year ago. For now I'll sleep.
