According to WikiLeaks, the CIA was reported to have sabotaged our Nuclear Program, that would introduce Nuclear Energy to us and better our lot in the production of energy (we use mainly thermoelectricals).

And if you think Nuclear Energy is harmful to the environment, Thermoelectricals are worse. Way worse. And China uses that. See the Three Gorges Dam. I think it threatens to break.

well your nucular program has nothing to do with the conservation of your rainforest the two points are not annalgous morally you not having a nucular program is morally neutral as i see it anyways, but that's a debate for another time anyways, they can sabatoge your nukes and still want you to protect your rainforest, there is no moral contradiction there
