@arc the biggest problem is anti-intellectualism in this country people think the virus isn't as bad as it really is, and say dumb shit like "well kids dont die from it" to send them off to school, ignoring the fact that kids dont live alone and come in contact with adults all the damn time @koro hey dont count out ol' joe, he says a bunch of dumb stuff too >w>/ (just not as dumb, not even close)

I remember way back when they were saying don’t wear masks there’s not enough masks and our stockpiles to low on twitter and on the news and right after the president was saying stuff about masks and there was that whole tear drop thing saying it can get into your eyes and masks don’t work. Then right after the next month ppl were like wear masks. Right before that a bunch of ppl were like it’s just a flu bro

@maid that was because at the time hospital workers needed it most and feuchy was scared of a shortage for them, and there ended up being one, yeah

I think any leader right now would be persecuted over what they are or aren't doing during the pandemic. It's a pretty big deal. On the other hand, there has to be personal accountability that falls back to personal choice. Like if I know someone that doesn't wear a mask, I'm not visiting them. At all. That's what the internet is for... Should they be allowed in public? Sure.. but then it comes down to personal property and buisnesses. I appreciate buisnesses that demand a mask.
