Adding a dislike button is like putting posts on a chopping block. This community is toxic enough, are we really going to make people self conscious about the stuff they post? We have a bunch of edgey teens and depressed people here who really use this place as their only means to be their true selves. If they already dont feel like they can be themselves irl without being judged now ur gonna judge them online. Think about both perspectives tbh. Thats what i feel people lack, the ability to see the pros and cons of things. Having zero likes on something is way better than having 1 dislike.

One could say silence is the ultimate dislike button. For the one whom seeks attention to not receive notice or compliments but is wholly ignored is the worse form of negative criticism. To quote Donald Trump of all people "No publicity is worse than bad." For if one cannot even garner negative attention then their words truly meant nothing.
