@truffle Awareness, is consciousness. When you're conscious, you are aware of what is happening around you.

@sparkis So you are telling me that a robot is aware of its environment. That means, because I notice there is a plant, I have consciousness?

@amir_bahram I'm not saying that I'm not conscious. I fail to agree with you if you are saying that awareness of the environment is all that consciousness is about. As long as I know that there is an environment, I have consciousness? Does a robot have consciousness? Does an atom have consciousness? Does a a mechanical sensor have consciousness?

@truffle Yes, robots with artificial intelligence implemented in their system do have some sort of consciousness. Though it depends on how deeply it is expanded. Yes being able to notice that there is something around you, in this case a plant is consciousness. But of course visual awareness is only a part of consciousness. Sensory awareness, emotions and feelings are also a part of consciousness that only living beings have.

@sparkis Okay, before I make a conclusion, I want to ask another question. Are robots aware of their surroundings?

@amir_bahram Before you ask me questions, can you answer questions: does an atom or mechanical sensor have consciousness?

Sophia at one time was the most intelligent robot having seemingly self awareness. The comedian Whitney Cummings actually just had a special several months back where she had a real doll affixed with AI. I was under the impression the more Whitney interacts with it the more it says and does.
