The witches are bizarre to me honestly. Yes that is part of what "Witches" are suppose to do, act strange, however I still lack understanding of their exact methods. - Clearly them being dead does not stop their influence on the world and Satella in particular was been described as a GREAT CALAMITY that took the entire world to defeat! - However Satella appears rather tame, if not nearly docile. - Garfiel seems more of a legitimate threat even after technically "losing" to Satella's magic. - All I wish to see is why these particular mages far outclass any other spellcaster. - I mean they have to go up against Reinhard who can one-shot Puck. Even Elsa, a mid-tier assassin, can hold her own against Beatrice and Reindhard.

I feel we get to see the true extent of the witches power through the witch factors. For instance reference beetleguese archbishop of sloth and his ability to use invisible hands to do his bidding. Or for instance roswaald who hasnt been tied directly to any witch hut has the power to not only change the weather but decapitate garfiel in a single kick. Their true power isnt shown but i can assume Minerva witch of wrath is a destructive force that isnt shown in an evil light. We havent seen the true power of these witches. Only things hinted at their power. Such as the witch of gluttony creating the white whale which took an entire army to kill.

not necessarily evil....they just lack some concepts of morality...they are very rational...is a better way to call them...but they do have sympathy (last episode) and sympathy and emotions make magic go haywire and accidents happens and all that other shit ....and the public just see witches as evil thats all

No i believe they are very decent people just their methods for things are twisted. Such as trying to feed the people using mabeasts but making them capable of destroying things in their path all for the sake of making it a challenge for others.
