Rem isnt dead, i think what will jappen is emilia has to die and then rem and subaru become a thing. Its gearing up to it. Even the hint of the flash back when rem got her name eaten showed them together with kids.

you know whenver freaking subaru break the only thing in his head is REM ffs...and he still says i do this for emilia...fu** off subaru

So, since it's gonna be a minute I will let you know this much. As of the current arcs available, Rem has not awakened. There are 6 arcs total and season 2 of the anime will stop at the start of arc 5. @hell_hound7 @koroshiya_desu

But you get to spend so much time with Emilia! For the next 3 arcs. Nothing but Emilia and no one else.

IDC see we have all these eps of emilia but REM just shows up in a damn flashback or it is just REM's voice ....this basically becomes the highlight of the season

emilia is just too bland..and everyone else is also like save me save me...but it is just REM who saves her hero and no one freaking comes close to that level at all

Bro they can get rem back they saidbit earlier in the series with crusch and stuff. If you get her name back she will awaken. She isnt dead she is just an empty shell. Subaru wouldnt try sobhard to save her if she was already dead
