@Beherit yeah, it's pretty wack. All the SJWs/Marxists masquerading as liberals bugs me. I'm pro 2A. Also support freedoms with marriage and gender expression since it's an individual choice. I support a lot of progress too so a free market and equal opportunities support that. I don't like the invisible monopolies getting in the way of free market though. Oh well, that's the challenge though gotta keep going.

Well, its fun to explore these things vicariously through an online test, but with the way some of the questions are worded, and some of the answering requiring more nuanced answers than Agree or Disagree, I wouldn't take it as gospel. I don't think actual beliefs are quantifiable. So, some salt should be taken with this entire thread. Hence why its in random chat and not serious discussion.

Yes, I get that Choc, it's meant to display a general feel of where someone might fall politically rather than completely. I agree some of the questions were worded rather vaguely like for example: "I believe the rest of the world should adopt our nation's ideas"... and how one answers depends on how they interpret the question. It's like I agree in principle, that some countries may be better off adopting certain ideas of ours, but it's not like I believe in using force to achieve that as I believe what works in one country may not work in another.

I confess I hesitated when I answered mine. Generally I have Nationalist tendencies, but I cannot condone Reactionarism...
But, sometimes Nationalism falls short in practice, since in a general (and somewhat vague) view, it favors culture (and national pride) above all else.

Yeah, same here. When I saw that question, the anthropologist enthusiast inside of me was like "Ew, yuck. Ethnocentricity. The root of all ignorance. Screw that." Ethnocentrism is a dirty word in that field of study. XD
Oh, hold on. -gets back into character-

Contrary to what a lot of progressives may say, I actually don't really have a problem with nationalism. It's most of the ideologies that cross over with, or package themselves deceitfully as nationalism that tend to be more problematic. But taking pride in your country, or putting your country before yourself are actually rather honorable in practice, regardless of whether some of the other stuff it entails rubs me the wrong way.

Nationalism is important in my view. However, it is generally linked to reactionarism and anti-liberalism (spcecially amongst Catholics), hence it suffers injustice from either progressives and conservatives.
