Otaku Identity

What constitutes the "Otaku Identity"? What makes someone an Otaku? I personally never had any other otaku friends, so I never really understood what it means to be an otaku. Sure, I like Gundam... Alot. But what I'm trying to say is... what makes a person an otaku?

I find that vague. And leaves me wondering where I stand. I like anime, but not manga so much. I like Gundam above all. I collect some. Have them on a shelf. I find myself the only otaku person I know.

Whoa. Hmmm... Maybe I'm an average otaku, I don't really hide it... I watch anime, collect gundams, and that's really it. I don't read manga, and I actually don't talk to anyone about anything I watch...

I hope so. Any Gundam fans out there? I only know one other person. Heh, I'm simply a Gundam Otaku lol I find the designs and their functions interesting.

meh imma real otaku =3= used to hate when anime fans wood call themselvs otaku but idk bein around more ppl who do it i dont mind XD its alot shorter then anime fan :P just they sood knw what otaku really means and that there not all anime fans :P
