Exactly you two! This is what I am saying. We do not matter anymore to the politicians in Washington. They only inform us on news media when they want us to do something for their sake.

Nothing is wrong with companies being represented in washington but not have more representation than an average american citizen when it comes to politics. Plus bribing under the table for politicians to run is wrong. Even if politicians turn down the company offering; the company will simply fund someone running against you at any time with alot more funding than the one person originally.

Basically every media outlet that censored trump and bashed him is discredited by me. I LOVE how no one is talking about the vaccine he got people to push out, but they sure as hell can talk about him not accepting election results. Or how secret calls he had are "treasonous"

Media will always censor what displeases them. They are, after all, a corporation as well. Our entire country is corporation ran as it always been since the 1900s. Only now they got more power since 2011.

I never mentioned that I like the status quo. What I had a problem with, is your overarching statement that socialism in of itself is a problem without context. May I remind you of your own words: "Bro socialism is corporations and government running your life and economy for you".
And for context, I am not aligned with any political party. I have been voting as a non-partisan since I had the right to vote. I think both the Democratic and Republican party are not able to do what is right for our nation.
I believe the government in general is corrupt and broken as it is right now. I think the "MSM" is also a bunch of incompetent idiots, chasing after eyeballs and ad-revenue, instead of doing proper journalism.
The video you put up yourself of "Bernie Sanders Slams Mitch McConnell On $2,000 Stimulus Checks" seems like a poor strawman using cherrypicking. It is not new that corporations are hijacking political ideals to suit their needs. It is not a matter of if socialism or capitalism is bad, as you see massive corporations playing both sides. Did you want to actually watch the video? "That's a corrupt tax system to begin with..." is what Bernie says. The corporations use their political influence along with the corrupt and broken tax system, to benefit themselves. This has nothing to do with socialism as a whole, which is what your statement indicates to. "Socialism for the rich is not, in the midst of this terrible pandemic, putting a $2000 check into the hands of working families" -Bernie. He was making a note that socialism for the rich, is not the same as socialism for the average person, which your statement, again, completely ignores.
It seems like you agree with me that government corruption is a major problem. I am just noting that you seem to be using the term "socialism" as a boogeyman term, you are confusing it with "corruption". That tends to be a common tactic in libertarian circles, along with the mainstream and radical right, especially since the rise of McCarthyism. Hence, my guess that you were trolling.

Perhaps I misused the word yes but in my defense I said it because Bernie said it. I honestly thought that was the entire spill he made about it in the video but I did not watch all the way through. My point was the abuse of power and ignoring the people. Which goes against the constitution itself looking back. I honestly thought you were backing up companies at first and fired off at you. Apologies. I get rather passionate about the subject.

The rise in McCarthyism is a response to the rise in Marxism. That door swings both ways.
Then there's Fang Fang.

What happened: Amid a widening counterintelligence probe, federal investigators became so alarmed by Fang's behavior and activities that around 2015 they alerted Swalwell to their concerns — giving him what is known as a defensive briefing.

Understandable, as I do get heated at times about politics. It is fair to have your grievances, but it plays into the hands of those in power to get angry at the wrong things, thats how you get a Germany in the 1930s or "the golden age" here in the US.
I do share your distaste of how corrupt our government seems to be these days, as it has been shown that it is getting worse and worse.
The system is unfortunately built in a way that makes things hard to change with the way things are right now. The ones in charge right now, have a vested interest in staying in power, and have the keys to their own seats, hence, there not being much done to address the corruption.
