" Kinda, but i meant like the normal woman expectation "Men must protecc me", which is why even if the Female is the weaker Person, the Female expects to be proteccted and good treated, which can end up in more unrealistic expectations etc. " I mean '' love '' has to be dead in our century when there's literally sociological problems between males and females. " I don't know to which sociological problems you're reffering to, but i do agree that love is more or less dead, but in my opinion nothing that "will never work out(for somebody ever)" you probably aswell though. I think it just became a looot more complicated, plus our last and current generations are really disgusting.

@yang the fact that you think that you're doing something wrong is wrong in itself. You've got bad experiences, yes. But that doesn't mean that you're doing something wrong. It's just that you've not been able to find someone who'll resonate with you. Sometimes it takes years to find that person, sometimes weeks. Don't do anything out of your character, be yourself. There's 1000s of girls out there who're probably looking for someone like, so get your spirits up young man and continue searching. I'm sure you'll find someone ^^

That is horrible I think it is just bad luck maybe? Or people are just horrible but there are good ones out there. But honestly it is better to find out in the beginning then to waste your time. Dont worry you'll find someone.

Thank you guys very much for your thoughts on this. Honestly what i really want is just a best friend gf, ya know? if i wanted some random cute chick, id ask my father for an arranged marriage across seas with some one in my own heritage. I want a girl who not only enjoys and sometimes gets excited being around me, but some one who shares similar interests, some one with a good sense of empathy. God i sound like an edge lord but old habits will die hard i guess :^)

@yangj1026 I totally feel you. And I'm wondering: do you ask your dates if they have a bf before you meet them? Or asking them in general?

@elhaym I don't, one thing school mates always told me were to "never bring up their ex". So I stuck with the idea of trying to make them a friend before someone I can see as a partner, although I do feel somewhat guilty when I also date partially for looks. I guess i would only ask when we are actually dedicated in a relationship or if i was asked first
