Stock market addiction

I feel like stock market is the equivalent of astrology for women in their late 20s to 30s and above, for men. Like so many guys talk about stock market, inclulding innner circles of friends. To be honest, I did not grow up rich, rather poor. Personally I am doing fine/ok atm, I do not hustle with anything, do not gamble, just live my life. I do not go on any vacations, this has multiple aspects, in terms of longer distances.... I am terribly scarred of flying and heights in general and I am trying to leave a low carbon footprint. Personally I feel better with supporting people, I played theater to raise money, workes on farmers markets, where the income was spend to help homeless people or people in need. However I from my perspective, and the brother of my gf is heavily invested in stockmarket and also family members, it is a hustle and people only accept it when they made money off of it. The endstage of capitalism is the stock market, bitcoin and (nft) I do not believe in them yet though. If you got money, you just want to make more... capitalism at its finest. I am not saying money is bad but honestly it stops, when other suffer through your decisions. Bitcoin for example or stocks is just a thing for gamblers and people who got some money (probably family backup, if they got money in an early age). People in rich countries are way too invested in increasing their wealth than caring for others. It is just disgusting.

At least stocks are backed by fundamentals. astrology is just psudoscience, lol. Plus most normies dont invest, its rare i find people to talk about this stuff with. Also Im 100% self made and used my own money to invest. I actually didnt get into it as heavily till after i bought my first house at 28. I feel people are either good with money or arent. If you're good with money, you'll know how to make money.

Stopped doing stocks for crypto and flipping NFTs on SOL. Made 20x amount in a month. Easy to make money but also easy to lose it all if you're not cautious.

Crypto is definitely a dangerous game.. ive played with fire swing trading it.. Cant say stocks are any safer these days though.. they're spooked easily. Im just sitting on my ETH bags and waiting it out.. with stocks i reduced to 4 companies ..all long plays.

@reisenpai66 lemme guess, AMD, NVDA, GOOG, and TSLA? If you have bought any other stock you'd be screwed this year

@arc lol.. TSLA is my biggest holding.. im going long on PLTR and RKLB .. my little rocket lab is going to the moon at least .. tesla too.. PLTR is purely driven by the fact of how ahead of the game they are with data aggregation which is gonna be huge.. sleeping giant. Also the fourth thing is more so a bag im still holding and im ashamed, but COIN.. seems to follow crypto now sorta so waiting for end of the crypto cycle to dump the bag.. but yea over all the markets have been rough..

Lots of people have been speculating a big crash was going to happen as far back as May and I keep sitting here every day listening to Arc and his dad whine about their losses. 8/
