Official Bugs and Suggestions Thread 3

@rafaelsanzio I get ads about "get rid of abdominal fat" or "removing varicose veins" - the last one is very disturbing. I'm old but not a granma xD
rafaelsanzio
Better suggestion, can you block and remove @candystarmagic account??? I feel like her space in the system storage can be occupied by someone actually useful
rafaelsanzio
@elhaym yesss xD Thanks to that i learned that I have 15 unread emssages from Sarah

Maybe she really wants to meet you. Watch out! Seriously, the placement of the personalized ads is an unprepossessing appearance.

As for the #s only being verifiable on the US, the owner site said he didn't wanted to spend the extra cents on sending the verification SMS to people outside of America. Because it costed him too much and he needed earnings

Also @rafaelsanzio Ads usually use your browser cookies or metadata to bring forth things of your interest based on your searching habits. I get a lot of ads for software development certifications, architecture courses and trinkets I've been checking on Amazon lately, your porn ads might be because... Well, you know It does sends an odd unrelated Ad every now and then though, so I would say it's a 50/50 probably

@swadian Well that's disappointing but I get it. I'm working for my friend as a coder/co-owner/head developer for his game server, and well I'm the only developer he has ever fully trusted and ever will. We've tried bringing in other devs and they were all liars or they were inexperienced so they ended up leaving, trying to control things their way, going inactive immediately without doing any work, or getting kicked out. So yeah, I totally understand. However, I feel I could seriously help (or someone like me). *wink wink nudge nudge owner dude*

To me the ads are bearable as long as they're actually helping to keep the site running financially. They're pretty small on my screen but I can see how it might annoy certain people if they're trying to click something right where the ads are.
