Mods cant ban people that have "trusted user" status, which a majority of users have on the site that have been here for a while New users dont have it Only the Admin can ban trusted users We cant delete threads, only the Admin can do that We have to go to the admin everytime something pops up And usually we provide proof when we do (which we do) So its really up to the admin to ban the person being reported We dont have access to anyones account Like with the guy who spammed pp pics at first had a trusted user status So we had to go to the Admin about it Now when the pp guy came back We were able to ban him because he had ti make new accounts and that we could see and ban everytime he made a bew account And he's using a vpm which is why he comes back everytime with a new account And he's made almost or even over 30 accounts We dont have the powers the admin does We're basically over glorified tattletales And then theres that damn automated system -w- Which is sometimes the cause of some problems on the site i.e random suspensions, and bans Anyways sorry to derail Just felt like I had to answer that

also, ip bans are very ineffective. the way it works is that your pc connects through your modem to the isp (provider) and they give you your internet ip. hence you can only trace people to their isp/provider location. now for the common folk who don't know a thing about networking it might be effective, but to anyone who learned a bit about it it's childsplay. See, your modem will get a static IP when it connects to your isp. so all it really takes to get a new ip allocated, is to just turn your modem off for a few min. and when you reconnect you will be assigned a new ip. ~~
