Nevertheless, if everyone in your circles never says 'I love you' to anyone that's not their lover, needless to say it makes sense to assume someone saying 'I love you' means it romantically. Just saying it's not that weird a conclusion to draw. In fact, if someone is in love romantically with someone else, what's the way to express that? 'I love you'. Naturally it could mean both, but to just say it's weird for people to draw that conclusion and that they can go fuck themselves, I mean, no, just no. @snake
