Anonymous Confessions ~The Return~

I'll confess something openly - ehhh. I pick up on things from other people pretty well. I consider myself to be pretty observant. In the last year, I have withdrawn from my friends at my work because they have became the typical bitchy girlfriends one can expect in life (see the movie Mean Girls for reference). I know they talk about me behind my back, they share inside jokes, and they turned out to be THE Mean Girls at the office so now I'm ostracized by the other cliques. I hate.. REALLY hate how many women I work with. But I think if my "friends" didn't work there, I would be happier.

^ for something similar I stopped trying to associate with people at workplaces too fast. I found out, that camaraderie that came easily usually entailed suffering in the long run. Instead, be chill about it, don't be rude but don't be super friendly, take your time and pick wisely, because backstabbers are everywhere and if you pick wrong, then, when you try to disengage, it's gonna hurt.
