Maiotaku (unofficial) dating section

So i am trying to build a community dedicated to strictly otaku dating. A place where people can post a quick bio about themselves and those interested can interact with said user. MO has been advertised as a dating site, but trying to date on here is very ineffective. People sorta use this as a place to hang out and chat with people who love anime. Which makes it great to make friends, but due to trolls and creeps its really hard to keep members around long enough to establish a healthy community for dating. Thus i came up with the idea to create Maiotaku's (unofficial) dating section. Now this isnt a website Or DiScOrD sErVeR. Frankly we have too many of those and its a waste of time. This is a privatized community, run and led by none other than your friendly mod team c: the goal is to provide a safe haven for those of you who wish to date people interested in things similar to yourself. Now due to the very obvious troll and creeper problem on the site. I cannot say publicly how to get to it. (Tbh i havent created it yet teehee :P) but i will conduct a screening of members that wish to participate. Once a member has been deemed fit to join i will let them know how to get in (THIS MAY OR MAY NOT BE TEMPORARY) my goal is to pretty much shut out the baddies and keep the good guys. Once the community gains enough traction/flops i might open it to the public. Once i work out the kinks, we can effectively shutdown any trolls and creeps on the spot anyway. With better moderation options provided than the ones here. I do not wish to drive traffic away from the site by any means. Merely be a gatekeeper to the said dating section. Yes koroshiya-dono. This is sort meant to balance out the male-female ratio. I fully intend to recruit members OUTSIDE of maiotaku for this server. I shall scour the internet for anime communities everywhere. I feel if i just refer them to this site they will be attacked the instant their profile comes up in the new memebers section. I have petitioned to have it removed but alas no luck. Now if they join the site in their own accord thats fine too.

I only really joined MO for dating purposes but seems like its mostly for making friends so I would be interested in this.

Even if the ratio is off the worst that can happen is she gets a bunch of inquiries from male members which she can choose to accept and or block if she deems fit. But i will try to work on the females. Its kinda up to them. And the ones we have here arent really all that interested in dating anyway.
