The exact same point I've been making to everyone irl. If the lockdown is lifted even for just one day, all hell will break loose

Yea the scary part is this is a much more contagious sars, and sars only spread between a few countries before it died off.. we're gonna need to really let this shit die off before we can lift anything. The scary part really is that we've never dealt with something of th is magnitude that needs to be killed off.

Really depends on the complexity of the vaccine. One of them predicted that if it worked they could produce a million in a year, which is akin to crying on a fire to put it out. Hopefully what ever vaccine is developed is developed somewhere that gives it away so people can't profit off of it. Otherwise we may never see one that gets to everyone in the US.

Well in my conspiracy theory mind whoever released the virus already had a treatment for it in their back pocket. That said they probably will release a less efficient version of said treatment at a later date for a nice profit once it's done the job of bringing the world to its knees. I really find it hard to believe whenever a NEW disease that's never been around in the thousands of years humans have existed just magically pops up for no reason. Our immune systems are way more robust than we give it credit and I know someone is tampering with these illnesses for personal gain. Who will always be the mystery, but I know looking historically at what happens when mad people with an intellectual mind get a complex about deciding what's best for the planet. I'm looking at you Wesker! https://s.movieinsider.com/images/p/600//23712_m1279798573.jpg

Technically the Flu virus shifts every year, which is why there is a new vaccine for it every year. So we see a new one almost yearly, even if the change is marginal. The Plague has only been around us for about 4 to 5 thousand years or so, but we really only know of two major outbreaks of it because of population variation. In reality this might not be the first time this has happened. It could have easily wiped out hundreds or thousands of people in China in the last 3 thousand years and we wouldn't know it was the cause. There are a number of deadly epidemics in the past that have no verified cause. It is a game of RNG. Every time something mutates there is a chance it will do exactly what this has virus has done, so it isn't surprising when something hits a lucky shot and suddenly has all the qualifications to be considered new. And no matter how robust one is, you are never good at an exercise the first time you do it. In fact, part of this disease is similar to the Spanish Flu in that it can cause you immune system to attack healthy cells in your lungs, so the better the immune system response, the worse the outcome can be if you can't fight it off fast enough. All of that being said, I would never put it past any of the social elite in this world to do something like this, but I don't think that is the case here. It is too out of control everywhere. The possible main culprits of such a task are all heavily infected and dealing with their own collapsing economies. It doesn't seem likely that anyone is sitting on a cure that they haven't released yet.
