I decided to follow up on my deranged uncle's inquiry about ammunition shortages across the country. At least in the state of Virginia they have limited rounds to 2 boxes per person per caliber. There was a line at the sporting goods store I visited, but I lucked out that they were closing early making them quicker to get people out the door. In addition weirdly enough the store had a 50% off sale on select brands giving me 2 boxes for the price of one. I'd have stocked up on more but I feel 100 rounds should get me through the week hahaha!

Gun store sales have gone up in recent weeks. I know around Northern Virginia and the DC area it defiantly has. I think non perishable food sales and survival food pouches have sold more too. Doomsday marketers must be loving this.

The world is divided into people who are freaking out, those who are not freaking out enough, and the people caught in the middle wondering if this is the start of the Homosapien Olympics and if Darwinism can prevail.
