Read page 1. Combat goes in turns rotating from attack to defense. You the attacker/defender will say a number between 1 to 6. The referee will roll the d&d dice and whoever has the closest number wins the confrontation. If the attacker wins the defenders loses a life. If the defender wins then they dodge or block the attack. Be creative and use gifs. Each player has 3 lives. There are fights in here you can look at for example.
