gpu failures will give you a black screen. if u have music playing in the background it will still run. and ull know for sure its ur gpu. ofc it could also be a virus~

(it gave me a blue screen... and when it was replaced, it worked fine again. but no matter how much i played around trying to fix my drivers, it didnt help.)

(i would bet on faulty firmware of the gpu then. hardware failures leave u with either black screen or ull see stuff that shouldnt be there)
