My number 1 horror game is Alien: Isolation. The atmosphere is relentless from start to finish. And it nails multiple horror aspects. And it's meaty. Expect about 20 hours clocked on your first playthrough (so not counting deaths XD).

Thank you everyone! I’ve seen Lights Out, but not “Raw”, “Stories to tell in the dark” or “The Void”, not have I played Alien: Isolation, so I’ll try that. Junji Ito, yes, I’ll check him out as well!

adding to the list of horror is Burn the Witches you think its a normal manga til chapter 2 oh man does shit go down in chapter 2 (its body horror type horror though)

I would recommend The Witch's House it's and RPG maker game. There is also a manga that takes place before the game starts.
