What is it like being a girl on MO?

Just wondering what other people go thru on this site. From what ive been told its a lot of harassment and dick pic's... but that cant be all right? So whats it like for the typical girl when she makes an account on MO? Do you think its easier or harder to make friends on here? And for the long time users, why stay?

I made a female dummy account at some point to test things out. Got 20+ friend requests and a bunch of dms within 5 hours of the account existing. I humored some of them to see how the conversations would go and I got both bored and overwhelmed at the same time. Really put things into perspective honestly.

I dont know if it is the same with other peeps, but my requests, inbox, and hearts are mostly from guys. From different ages. From dummy to real accounts. My inbox varies from those who are making friends and those who wanna do lewd stuff. I get messages from wamen once in awhile, and messages are mostly girly stuff. Whether I put single or taken it doesnt stop guys from adding and pervs from sending shit. But it lessen tho. Also I feel like when u a wamen real guy friends you have here are just sweet to you and kind in any possible way.

It is quite easy to make acquaintances on MaiOtaku~ I myself haven’t been harassed and sent dick pictures~ I have a bad habit of obstructing strangers’ attempts to get to know me on a deep, intimate level unless they can discuss actually deep and impersonal topics with me for some time. I usually ignore messages that go like “ Hi:Howdy” sent by strangers, at times I test them to see how the conversations will go, for example, once getting asked “How is it going”, I might express my gratitude and mention a topic concerning non-fictions I read ;), okay, I’m quite good at killing conversations. I really appreciate people who can answer my questions about those seemingly deep topics~

I also make friends with nice people who may not be quite curious and inquisitive. The premise is that I have observed them for a while and know they aren’t desperate ones who might bite me. I stay because I have made friends and spotted interesting people I admire. Also this website has tons of introverts, it provides me an opportunity to observe and analyze our differences and similarities.

Hmmm so it varies greatly depending on the person, expected but I’m surprised you haven’t gotten more trolls enki. Maybe they can sense they don’t have a chance and quit before they try lol. Or know they can’t keep up on an intellectual level XD Sounds like you are more of the normal experience lei. More of the trolls and thirsty dudes. But also genuinely good people who uve come to know. Sounds like you get the best and worst of both worlds lol. I imagine it’s based on how much you actually post on the site and what’s on your profile. But I’m actually surprised enki doesn’t get as much harassment like I’ve seen is so common for most on the site. I am a guy who has been harassed and sent dick pics (though most of that stopped a short time after I joined). I truthfully fear for what women on this site might go through. I already see new female users walls get swarmed by guys, several creepy/cringey comments included.

Kinda why I created this. I wanted to hear what it was actually like instead of just rumors. Cause with those you never know which are true and which aren’t. Figure this way people can see what they go thru on here too. Kinda bring it to light it in a way, at the very least to myself.

Considering the ratio, women have to have a pretty tight constitution to remain here. The amount of creepy and cringy stories I've heard (concerning BOTH genders) often times makes me want to just leave.

A friend of mine on here told me he made a fake account, got like 50 requests, everyone became super nice and opened up about themselves to him and said woman have easy mode on here.
