Any tips for a newbie?

I just signed up and I'm trying to go through the options we have on here, just trying out stuff. You guys and gals got any tips and tricks for how to tackle this site? I'm not really used to this to say the least haha If not, please recommend me some more anime I can watch instead Thanks in advance :-) <3

If you want someone to see you messages outside a DM, its best to leave the message right on that persons wall, or as a direct response to one of their comments (I think you need to do something with verification for that though). Then that person will get a notification of your message. Messages you post on your own wall will usually go unseen, unless someone checks your wall directly, or one of your friends is lucky enough to catch the message on the front page feed. Welcome to MO. I'm new here too so i can't really be much help in that department. However, I can definitely recommend ya some good shiz to watch. What's your favorite genre?
