Need Help

As the title says, I need help. I know it's a long shot but maybe someone here might have the answer to my question. I had gotten a Nintendo switch for my children to share for Christmas last year. They play on it no issues, well not till now. I got them mortal combat for it but they couldn't play it because it needed a update but wouldn't let them update the game because lack of space on the switch. So I ordered a micro sd card about size of 128MB for it. Well I put it in the switch and it's showing that it's in it, but it's saying something about not enough space on the actual switch system, which is where it's trying to save the update data to, not the sd card. Did I miss something? I thought once I got them a sd card they could save data on it and be able to play mortal combat.

If I remember right, all saves are put on the system and can't be saved to the sd card. But anything that's not a save can be moved to the sd card to make more room for saves

You need to go to storage settings and move over some data to the sd card. Are you sure you bought a 128MB card instead of GB?
