I got a message from a bot, and I have been trying to mark it as read. However, I can not interact with it. It is driving me nuts. How do I get rid of it? It is just saying one unread.

Try typing one letter in the textbox, and the icon might go away. I've had to do that sometimes.

It did not work, but I think I found out why. Since that message was sent from a bot, that bot deleted its account, so since there is no account, I am unable to interact with it. So, since there is no account, the message doesn't exist. I received a message, so an account exists — a message loophole.
