but my question is on interracial relationships. I don't know how others think, but sometimes it gets really hard to talk to other people, especially in a romantic way when you don't know how they feel about interracial relationships. This may be treading on dangerous waters, but if I fall for a woman, I don't care about race. Just wondering if that's felt the same by anyone else.

I feel people put too much importance on race in general. personally i wish that we could just forget about that topic in general. i feel that we should just drop these racial boundaries... it is just bringing us further apart.

While I agree with animecountryboy, I also understand that the world is not cut and dry. Despite what others tell you there is nothing wrong with interracial relationships, if it's a touchy subject where you live, then do what you want and be careful about it. ^_^ loop holes<3

It's not that, it's just that from the cons that I've gone to, I've felt a bit isolated when trying to talk to woman of different races. Even here on site, I feel like there's less of a chance of finding that certain someone if others look at race as a preference. Maybe this is just because I've grown up on the South Side of Chicago, but it makes me a bit more nervous when I think about it like that.

idk man...here in MA race isn't even thought of. I was honestly surprised when I saw your post because based on where I live, I thought racism was way in the past. I know it sounds tiresome but maybe find someone out of your area who is looking to move, or vise versa?

It's hard for some to understand race is still an issue, especially if they're not a minority themselves. >//w//<~~ I'm latina and sometimes a bit tomboyish, so... it can be hard to find people like you. Especially when it seems in anime latina and blacks aren't always popular. But people are generally very open in my experience. Those who are otaku and like anime don't always look at race. :> We have more open hearts than some I think!
