One by one they never learn The lesson that they should Try and try they might They never really could When the day light fades The shadows they devour One by one they fade in that fatal hour Unless the light they grasp One by one they fail Unless they work together There enemy will prevail Together or apart one by one they fight Hour upon hour through the dead of night
