Honestly love can have different meanings or variations. If you asked my opinion in a simple answer. Two people that care about each other

A very good mutual feeling that you have towards someone. Or at least between both parties when that relationship develops or is already developed.

I'd definite being in love as when someone consumes your thoughts all day and night and you get a feeling of relief and anxiousness whenever you talk to them

It means giving a shit about someone when all the lust fades away. It means taking care of someone even though you've told them a billion times where their socks belong and not in the goddamn floor. It means you still want to hang out with the person even when they have gotten on your last goddamn nerve for the day. Real love is gritty and dirty and not many people make it out alive. *chews cigar*

Love for me is a strong connection with someone. Being able to share life's most precious moments with a single person. Bonding over even the littlest of things. Someone who you feel a strong emotional tie to, and if they ever were to leave your life you would be greatly affected by it. To me there are 3 types of love: family, friend, and significant other. Family: someone who no matter what they have done to anger you or whatever bad decisions they have made, you forgive them and look past their faults. Genuinely they got to see you grow into the person you are. Friend: a person you share moments with, they helped shape who you are shared fun moments with you. They have been there for you when family and significant other could not. They are the greatest set of people you can meet as there is literally nothing tying them to tou. They just like your company. Significant other: for me this is someone who yiu can share moments with that neither family or friend you would be able to have with. To me love in this aspect is with a person who cares about you deeply. Someone you would lay everything on the line for, you can show them how imperfect you are and they will still find you perfect. Its late night drives singing along to a favorite song after getting a quick snack and just living in the moment.
