What got you into anime/videogames?

pana
For me personally; it was so much, also because I was a hermit. The art style, the original music you can only ever hear from them, the story, crazy and amazing stuff that happens, how entertaining it was, how cool everything looked, and over all how fun everything is.

You may be the most blunt person I’ve ever seen Laff. That’s a special connection. I began on the PS1 playing games with my father, as early as my memories span back. Crash Bandicoot, Inspector Gadget, Gex to name a few. After that I never looked back until high school hit and I learned to act faux-sociable and got into a ton of social scenes, then that grew old by 21 and I reverted back to my hermit origins. By extension that rekindled my love for gaming. As far as anime goes, I’m one of the classic mid 90’s babies who grew up on DBZ when it first aired on CN/Toonami. After I got to 8 or 9 and I spent most of my time on the weekends staying with my grandma she’d stay up until 2-3am knitting and I’d be up with her watching YYH and all the other oldies they ran on there back in the day.
