koi no katachi, the manga i related to ishida's struggles at school, and what shouko told her sister when shes a child https://data.whicdn.com/images/294293607/large.jpg in the movie its not actually said, but in the manga it tells us that Shouko wanted to die when she was a child, and it show the reasons why it wasnt just because of the bullying ill spare the rest of it, but the manga had so much more detail that was either implied in the movie or just never mentioned and it really shows why shouko wanted to die and it makes her suicide attempt as a teenager all the more deep and three dimentional just read the manga damn it
