THE BEST ANIME IDEA EVER

Okay I want honest opinions on this as well as critique and suggestions. It may be something I'd like to pursue. The story is about a secret, underground laboratory where these scientists push foster children to their absolute physical limits from a very young age. The aim of the scientists is to test the boundaries of human kinetic performance. Every day, the children exercise to exhaustion- passing out, vomiting, etc. The children are forced to work in extreme conditions as well, such as low O2 levels, burning heat, freezing cold, etc. They are given supplements that promote muscle repairing and enhances their cardiovascular system. Social interaction between the foster children are relatively low, the only time being when they are removed from their cells for lunch breaks. The protagonist of the story works immensely hard and follows orders as told. He does not disturb the laws of the underground, and he is always aiming to impress the researchers (which is a difficult task). He is one of the eldest foster children (let's say he's in his early teens) and he has a small group of friends who have also been taken in by the scientists. This is the only life they know, but they try their hardest and even get some satisfaction out of it. The protagonist is the most respected of the group due to his strong will and good decision-making skills. One day during lunch, one of the friends offers him something he found on the ground- a piece of media (maybe a newspaper, phone, or whatever). Here, the group of friends study it together, but the protagonist takes serious interest in it as it offers a hint to the outside world; a world he does not know of. He learns that life does not have to be a constant physical struggle, and he wants to pursue this outside world. The protagonist plans an escape with his small group of friends (which took a lot of convincing on his end), and using their vast knowledge of the facility and their physical features, they succesfully escape the research facility. From there, they follow their plan and split up to avoid being caught, and eventually they settle down. The protagonist is taken in by an elderly lady; one friend is living in the slums, stealing to and using her incredible athletic ability to get by; others find families of their own with the help of police, etc. Eventually, the protagonist begins high school. He is not very well educated, but he is able to read. School is a struggle for him, except for PE class. Everyone is utterly shocked by his athletic prowess. He has the strength of a bear, the agility of a cheetah, and the stamina of a horse. Every aspect of his body is designed to compete at the highest level of sport. The PE teacher immediately notices that this kid is out of the ordinary, a prodigy without a doubt. The teacher puts the protagonist to the test, and the results are astonishing. Track and field scores equivalent to record-holding olympians... in every single event. The protagonist is bathing in glory of all the compliments he's receiving- he never got this kind of special treatment while at the research facility, and furthermore, the events were a breeze. Down the road, after smashing record after record in school sports events, the group of friends compete against each other at the highest division (since they are all living in a relatively close proximity). Media surrounding these students is immense, everyone wants to see who is the best of the best. They end up getting competitive with each other for this reason, and what was a family reunion quickly turned into a hatred for each other. After competing with each other for some time during the track events, scouts begin to appear (as expected) at some of the higher divisions. One group of scouts, however, is a group of thugs with the goal of abducting some of the foster teens. Due to the amount of effort that was put into these kids, the research facility wants the kids back, of course. And they well do anything within their power to do so, like putting a hundred thousand dollar bounty on these kids on the black market (be it deep web, or whatever.) And so, one of the foster teens gets abducted, and the group of friends quickly realize their competitiveness and hatred towards each other will not get them anywhere. They must work together to get their friend back. To get their family back. With the help of the slum-living foster, they learn ties as to which group might have abducted the foster teen. That is all I have now, I would really like some ideas as to what any of you would like to see unfold in this story!

A pretentious plot that constantly sucks the dick of some edgelord anti hero douchebag, otherwise it won't sell. Also lots of boobs that never get groped on purpose despite being out there in the open. Yknow, the only things weebs REALLY watch for. Kidding, kidding! XD I haven't seen this done in anime, to be honest, but I do see a lot of online roleplays with a similar concept. If there was ever a time to drop an anime like this on the community, it would be right now as the trope is bound to become a thing.

Dude I was thinking the exact same thing! Maybe I'll change the personality of the MC to be a depressed, rebellious little fuck who sees the treatment as torture and nothing less. And the friend group? All a bunch of happy go lucky girls who are constantly trying to cheer him up! We're getting somewhere!!! Seriously though, maybe we could add a little pint of emo in the plot after the MC discovers that media. And honest question, would you be interested in watching something like this?

I'd definitely give it a watch, though since I can be a really cynical little girl, I likely would judge it pretty harshly while watching and realize how good it was the next day while I'm bored at lunch. Yknow, like I did with legend of the galactic heroes... Still! If I see it on shelves, I'll buy a copy! Or if it winds up on youtube instead, send me a link. I'll watch it. Like I said before, this is becoming popular in the roleplay community that usually coincides with anime fandoms... If there was ever a time to do it, NOW IS THE TIME!!!

This seems like something I would be very interested in. My only problem with this is that it seems like a family guy episode. And No! Not what you think. Family guy episodes to me tend to start off with the usual modus operandi then by the end of the episode it has a completely different modus operandi. Another words the episode plot changes into something completely different, an almost complete different episode plot. Usually family guy can get away with this because there's technically is no continuing plot for the show as basically it's an adult cartoon. As for you, The whole beginning part i absolutely love, but the middle and the end should be split into parts instead of just a whole. Because it's more of a pacing problem for me than else. But otherwise i would watch it as its interesting.
