Thoughts on furries

@Baka is the feeling of 'disgust' even related to logic? I always assumed these feelings come from our primal instincts towards fear of the unknown/unusual rather than any logical thought process. It's just very natural for us to have these feelings for things we regard as alien to us. At least, that's the way I see it :).

If someone doesn't like furries then I'm okay with it as long as they actually know and are informed about what it is that they don't like about them, what bugs me is if they don't even know what someone in that fandom actually is and just hates them because they think every furry is this or that. If you know what makes you part of that fandom and you are well informed then after all of that decide that you still don't like that then that's just the way it is and not everybody likes everything and I can happily accept that. Edit: Long story short I guess I don't hate furry haters rather I dislike blind ignorance directed towards the furry community

My brother is actually a furry, and he's an upstanding guy. While he as some grumpiness and social anxiety he's never been one to break laws or harm anyone intentionally. He's actually the more responsible one between us.

Furry's are fine. It's just trendy to hate on them. I'm not part of it, I think the art is cool and the fursuits are cool too. I'd go to a con if I got the chance.

A lot of furry haters try use one time a con went completely wrong to make them seem like criminals, but all fandoms have that one con in their history.
