Thoughts on furries

Well first off given what a fursuit is I don't think there's any possible way for it not to look like a mascot as you put it and secondly it's not really the fault of the furries as much as it is the fault of the people only thinking that the most offencive aspects of a possible furry is what every furry is like. So many people think that if you are a very that means you are disgusting fursuits, have sex in those fursuits which by the way there are a different type of fursuit for sex that has a different name, and you like animated furry porn or you fuck animals IRL. It's not the fandoms fault or if it is it's only 50% their fault as much as it is everybody else's fault for assuming that if you are part of that fan and then you have to like one or all of these things when simply enjoying the art style is enough to categorize you as a furry even if it's the innocent art style

Well that's just how life is, everything has oppression to it. I remember when liking anime was considered super lame and everybody just screamed hentai in your face. It's a lot better now but that still hasn't faded away. But I don't think the sitution with furries will ever get better ρ(￣ﾍ￣ ﾒ)

I give it 3 more years before furries start marching in protest for equal rights like the LGBT community. It wouldnt surprise me tbh, nothing against either communities. But if we are gonna accept one community why not accept them all? Sure you can go out in a fursuit but people will just look at you and cringe. One day it will just be a normal thing and kids will be able to wear them at school

Full on fursuits are going to be by necessity bulky and stiff, especially given the need for some type of internal cooling if you don't want to die while wearing one. Maybe this will change someday in the future with advanced crafting materials, but that is not the world we live in now. Regardless, many of them are quite impressive from a pure craftsmanship standpoint, and really shows the compassion those individuals have for their hobby.

I personally don't mind the animations or drawings of them (if they aren't to bulky) but the IRL version is just...well it's a known thing that 2D>3D

I have a friend that makes the first suits and is really just not that much of a way to get around that bulkiness because a lot of them actually have built-in fans so you don't overheat yourself. These are the things that people who are not part of the fandom, have friends within the fandom, or build cosplay don't know
