The latest anime that I watched that I fell in love with was Mawaru Penguindrum. That and The Saga of Tanya the Evil. Both of them are pretty unique in plot-line and execution and I can't really find anything like them. Any recommendations?

Yoooo penguindrum is a masterpiece one of my favs, ikuhara made it, one of his anime is airing right now called sarzanmai, some of his other works like yuri kuma and revolutionary girl utena might interest you as well, tho i like penguindrum better than both
