Being around

otakueaterd
I always wonder this a lot and a lot of people give me a feeling about it where are there people want to be around negativity or people want to be around positivity.... shouldn't it be either way as I understand that some people don't have that power to choose where they are allowed to feel some sort of way and the negativity or positivity literally radiates off of them from somebody else. I don't know as I've been through it before when I used to stay with my mom but now that I'm older and still make me a pass to my dad it's kind of like a seesaw battle to know when and where to do it and how to change that but now that I am going to therapy I feel like I have finally found my center. So how about you guys and girls?

Hmm if the question is whether i'd like to be around negativity or positivity, then I'd like to think i'd always choose the latter. I found my center through diet and exercise, but it creeps back in from time to time.

Of course, positivity.I have been through negativity, and I tend to expose myself to negativity, so I know how precious positivity can be and how lucky I am.But..at times negativity confuses and weakens me.

Being around with positivity is generally better as almost always you want to be in a positive mood. There can be times when you want to be sad, negative or serious and having a positive/happy mood can make things odd/akward/inappropriate etc. For example during a serious event/accident or funeral etc. But in normal day to day situations positive mood is always wanted. The world, news, daily struggles for certain people and so forth already may lower a persons mood. So having someone radiate negative mood and feelings will just make things worse. For me, someone else's mood affects me too in certain ways. A silent and grumpy person makes me quiet and carefull around them. An angry person makes me annoyed and negative as I hate that atmosphere. The same thing happens in the opposite spectrum of feelings. A happy person lightens the mood, makes smiling easier and overall makes me feel relaxed. Feelings are contagious, so it is better to be in a positive environment. Better for mental and physical health, and for relations to others.

It's just some gloomy troll with too much time on their hands. Pay no mind to it.

I prefer to stick with chill people than obnoxious pretentious ones.

People enjoy being happy(Shocker right?), and as social creatures, we often feel how the atmosphere in the room is, which is controlled by the most vibrant person in said room. This can be sad or happy. No matter how you look at it, unless you have some mental disorder(Like depression, which then you need to get professional help), you can control your mood and what kind of person you are. It's difficult to believe, but people truly do control the state of mind they are in on the average. So logically people want to be around others that help them feel better.

There are people who see sadness and depression as part of their identity and feel comfortable with it. "Positivity" and "negativity" are too vague terms to figure out something meaningful about them, really. I don't think about it. Sometimes I feel up and sometimes down, so do people around me, I guess that's just life.
