Looking for a Relationship - Revived

I am looking right now, it's time for me to be more social. Currently I have a few semesters of college left, I'm studying software engineering but I love talking about psychology and philosophy. I have a strong direction for my career/professional life, but I want to fill the social gap I've missed in pursuing academics. A willingness to communicate is really important to me; being comfortable sharing ideas, exploring thoughts together, these things are great.

I am looking for a relationship and friendship. Have never had trouble dating but none have ever been interested in anything i enjoy in life and always seem forced toward them and not about us. Obviously my main focus during my free time is watching and reading manga. I do like games but as of late I haven’t found myself playing as much as I used to. I’d describe myself as a bit shy at first but mostly because no one wants to talk anime so I have to figure out what there intrest are. I’m 5”9 170 average build but working on that.
