Is this site dead?

I only gotta on like 3 or 4 times and I am kinda new but it kinda feels like this site died? Maybe its just me... by dead I mean a ghost town like no one is here lol

Wait for the tumbleweed and zombies from Resident Evil to come out. Yeah it seems dead but I think that's mostly because this place isn't advertised as much as OKC or PoF. Maybe we should spread the word at anime clubs, conventions, anime forums, etc?

You couldn't be further from the truth. I should start working on actual statistics, but people talk to you more if a) You have the correct age in your profile, and b) your default picture is you in cosplay. The thing is, though, that you get a short bump from being on the 'newest' page, and then you have to reach out from there.

I just hope the site grows bigger that would be a plus for all of us. Maybe at the next cons we go to we should advertise.

you may be right, I don't know tho I did say I think its and how it seems dead but I kinda figure I might be wrong since I not as activate but from the look of this topic there are people here lol.

plenty of activity, I've been here for a bit and i was thinking the same thing. (about advertising) but i'd ask sephiroth 1st. actually Sephiroth is it kewl man lol.but he's right the newest section is very short lived but honestly i dont think it's needed for additional promotion I notice that there are noobs coming in quite frequently and u have to reach out to people. (some otaku r rather shy) don't just site there and expect a comment or friend request just because u have a "kick ass" page. Go talk to someone 1st for starters check out the most active members, how this helps u guys l8ers fellow otaku ^_^

Exactly you have to go talk to people and comment on other pages. We'd love to advertise, but we have no money, ^_^. I go to 2-3 anime conventions a month and hand out 500-1000 MaiOtaku cards at each convention.
